Routine maintenance of Electric Car

2024 11/22

Electric Car are driven by motors and do not require routine maintenance such as engine oil, three filters, and belts. They mainly require daily maintenance of the battery pack and motor and keep them clean. It can be seen that the maintenance of Electric Car is indeed much easier than that of traditional vehicles.

1. Replacement of air filters
In fact, there is not much difference between the structure of Electric Car and Gasoline Car, so components such as air conditioning filters also need to be checked and replaced as appropriate during maintenance, just like Gasoline Car.
2. Check the oil level
Although Electric Car do not have engines, their batteries and motors also need to be cooled and dissipated by adding coolant. During maintenance, in addition to checking the coolant level, freezing point tests are also required, especially before entering winter. The inspection and replacement of brake fluid and windshield washer fluid should also be paid attention to during maintenance, which is the same for Electric Car as for Gasoline Car.
3. Power system inspection
The inspection process of the power system is similar to that of Gasoline Car. Only through the power system can we know where to replace, but the inspection of Electric Car may be more complicated, and special inspection of some socket connectors and line insulation protection is required.
4. Battery system inspection
As an important component of Electric Car, batteries are also an important process in Electric Sedan Car maintenance. Usually, 4S stores have professional instruments that can accurately check the status of battery cells.
5. Chassis inspection
The chassis inspection is to check whether the chassis has scratches, whether the depth of the scratches will involve water entering the chassis, and whether the chassis has water leakage. Check the chassis circuit, check whether the wiring harness is damaged, whether it is aged, etc. Check the degree of tire wear, whether the tire pressure is normal, whether the brake pads need to be replaced, etc.
